Dissociable Components of Experience-Driven Attention (Current Biology)
 


The control of attention is widely believed to be influenced by current task goals, the physical salience of stimuli, and selection history. In this study, Kim and Anderson demonstrate that selection history reflects two distinct learning processes that have dissociable consequences for the orienting of attention.
