Imidazole Ketone Erastin Induces Ferroptosis and Slows Tumor Growth in a Mouse Lymphoma Model (Cell Chemical Biology)

Zhang et al. identified imidazole ketone erastin (IKE) as a potent and metabolically stable inhibitor of system xc- and inducer of ferroptosis. The authors show that IKE exerts an antitumor effect in a mouse xenograft model and exhibits distinct lipid metabolism effects in vitro and in vivo.
