The Integrator Complex Prevents Dedifferentiation of Intermediate Neural Progenitors back into Neural Stem Cells (Cell Reports)

Mutations of the human Integrator subunits are associated with neurodevelopmental disorders and cancers. Zhang et al. demonstrate that the Drosophila Integrator complex prevents dedifferentiation of intermediate neural progenitors primarily by regulating the zinc-finger transcription factor Erm during neural stem cell lineage development in the larval brain.
