A 60-yr-old female with intermediate-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer treated with mitomycin followed by bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) continued to develop recurrences. The authors discuss whether the best treatment course is a repeat transurethral resection of the bladder, more intravesical therapy, or novel drugs in a clinical trial.
