In their interesting article, Culp et al [1] assessed recent worldwide prostate cancer incidence and mortality rates, giving a comprehensive overview of trends, using up-to-date incidence and mortality data. We believe, however, that there are certain additional points worth considering that can supplement the interpretation of the published results.
