Segmentation and Comparative Modeling in an 8.6-Å Cryo-EM Map of the Singapore Grouper Iridovirus (Structure)

Pintilie et al. describe the architecture of the Singapore grouper iridovirus, revealed by cryo-EM at 8.6-Å resolution. Several components are identified including an outer icosahedral coat (T = 247), zip proteins that run along coat proteins, and anchor proteins that attach the coat to an inner lipid membrane.
