We carefully read the very interesting paper by Del Giudice et al [1] regarding prospective assessment of the Vesical Imaging Reporting and Data System (VI-RADS) and its clinical impact on the management of high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer among candidates for repeated transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT). The authors report some exciting results for the use of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging and the performance of VI-RADS scores as a future preoperative predictive tool for selection of patients with high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer as candidates for early repeated transurethral resection of the primary tumor site.
