Cross-talk between CD38 and TTP Is Essential for Resolution of Inflammation during Microbial Sepsis (Cell Reports)
 


Sepsis as a clinical syndrome is characterized by systemic inflammation and widespread tissue injury. Joe et al. suggest that the activation of TTP, an RNA binding protein, helps to ameliorate the inflammatory response and promote bacterial clearance in sepsis.
