Rates and Predictors of Perioperative Complications in Cytoreductive Nephrectomy: Analysis of the Registry for Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma (European Urology Oncology)
 


Cytoreductive nephrectomy is often a complex procedure associated with considerable morbidity and mortality. Estimated intraoperative blood loss is a strong predictor of postoperative morbidity, and a higher cytoreductive nephrectomy case load correlates with lower high-grade postoperative morbidity.
