Types of data
When offering our products and services, we use different types of (personal) data. It differs for each product and / or service which data we process.
There are three types of data that we collect to distinguish:

Registered User Data
These are data of registered users. Registered users can get a more personal news overview on MyJournals.org: i) and ii) receive a personal newsletter. When registering, an e-mail address is requested and a user name. First and last name are optional. Then this username is linked to a news source list (if it is created). This information will not be made available to third parties. It is possible to delete a user registration by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
Public Information Collection
MyJournals.org is a website that also collects public or free information (that is, information that has not been left by a user by means of a registration, hereinafter referred to as 'Public Information'). Examples of this include sections of messages from various news sources and - via partners - information about new vacancies.
Depending on the type of information source, this information is collected i) from partners / sources that have fully respected the GDPR and on which users on the platforms of these partners have agreed to sharing this information, ii) public information where, if application, the privacy of persons is subordinate or iii) information in which the rules concerning the AVG do not apply at all.
The foregoing does not alter the fact that MyJournals.org does not change or delete Public Information on request. As a rule, MyJournals.org will always change or delete Public Information on request and practically always within one working day. Purposes of data processing
We process and collect your personal data for the following purposes:
For the above purposes, not all data for the same purposes will be processed. Some data is only retained for the purpose of the operation of the website, while other data is used for analysis or optimization.

Resistance, access, modification and deletion of personal data

Remember to clearly state your (full) name, address and place of residence when requesting access to, changing or deleting data. If we are unable to determine which personal data your request for inspection, change or removal relates to, we may ask you to specify your request. We postpone the execution of your request until you have provided us with the specification. We will always send you a confirmation message after completing your request. As soon as possible after receiving your request, we will inform you if and how, and if not why not, we grant your request. Not every request for modification or removal will be granted. A request that concerns personal data that do not relate to you will be refused.
