The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has produced its National Health Report 2014. Life expectancy continues to increase and age-adjusted mortality fell for all leading causes except Alzheimer`s disease and suicide. However, many Americans still die of preventable diseases, especially heart disease, cancer, and respiratory diseases.
