[Editorial] President Trump (Lancet)

The room was full to overflowing. This hastily arranged session, held at the European Public Health Conference in Vienna last week, was branded a `late breaker`, and entitled `The results of the US presidential elections and public health in Europe and in the world.` David Stuckler led his audience through the unexpected events of the previous week--unexpected, that is, to public health professionals, 99% of whom, he suggested, would have supported Hillary Clinton. Stuckler asked, `Is Trump really THAT bad?` He concluded that the reality was, indeed, `grim`.
