Single-Cell Transcriptomics in Medulloblastoma Reveals Tumor-Initiating Progenitors and Oncogenic Cascades during Tumorigenesis and Relapse (Cancer Cell)
 


Zhang et al. show that OLIG2+ progenitor cells drive Sonic Hedgehog subtype medulloblastoma (SHH-MB) tumorigenesis in mice and are enriched in recurrent or resistant patient SHH-MB. OLIG2 activates HIPPO and AURORA-A/MYCN signaling, and co-inhibition of these pathways arrests SHH-MB growth in mice.
