A Proposed New Rule at the US EPA Is Transparency Taken Too Far (Cell)

We recently joined with the editorial teams of other prominent scientific and medical journals to express our strong concern about plans being outlined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to limit the range of scientific research it uses to inform and underpin policy. Under its proposed new rule, the agency would only consider and use for assessment studies where the underlying raw data are publicly available.
