The Therapeutic Potential of PTEN Modulation: Targeting Strategies from Gene to Protein (Cell Chemical Biology)

Despite its risky profile as a tumor suppressor, PTEN continues to attract substantial interest as a therapeutic target. We present current strategies toward PTEN modulation, and we discuss how recent advances could accelerate the design of future PTEN modulators considering the protein, its mRNA, and related miRNAs as targets.
