Set7 Is a H3K37 Methyltransferase in Schizosaccharomyces pombe and Is Required for Proper Gametogenesis (Structure)

Shen et al. identified and structurally characterized Set7 in S. pombe as a histone methyltransferase specific to H3K37. Data presented highlight the role of Set7 and H3K37 methylation in proper gametogenesis, possibly paving the way for a better understanding of men spermatogenesis infertility.
