Detecting and Imaging O-GlcNAc Sites Using Glycosyltransferases: A Systematic Approach to Study O-GlcNAc (Cell Chemical Biology)

Wu et al. describe a highly specific approach to detect/image O-GlcNAc as well as potential sites for O-GlcNAc modification on biological samples using recombinant glycosyltransferases and chemical probes. The method can be used to quickly identify proteins that are targets for O-GlcNAc modification.
