The authors have identified a clerical error in reporting the age of the rats used in the study. In Section 2.1 the sentence `Twenty-eight-month-old female Sprague-Dawley rats were obtained from the Laboratory Animal Centre of Harbin Medical University` should read `Twenty-eight-week-old female Sprague-Dawley rats were obtained from the Laboratory Animal Centre of Harbin Medical University`.
