Rewiring Neuronal Glycerolipid Metabolism Determines the Extent of Axon Regeneration (Neuron)
 


Axotomy alters several glycerolipid biosynthetic enzymes to regulate axon regeneration in both CNS and PNS neurons. Depleting neuronal lipin1 and DGAT to redirect lipid synthesis away from triglycerides and toward phospholipids promotes axon regeneration.
