While the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER)-Watchful Waiting dataset aims to address a knowledge gap in population-based data research as it pertains to prostate cancer, authors, readers, and editors must be careful of the potential biases that arise with complete case analysis. Multiple imputation modeling may improve the utility of this dataset by minimizing biases attributed to missing data.
